Day 4: Hearing God clearly ALONE

I remember when I first heard God speak to me clearly, it was while I was on a compulsory holiday. I would stay indoor seeking God till noon on several areas of my life and settling down was one of it. When he gave me His word it was direct and nothing could make me believe otherwise.

Today many have carried too many companions of both genders and hearing from God had become confusing. They can’t even tell if they are the one speaking to themselves or God. I encourage you to seek to be alone and hear God clearly and by yourself.

Others always want to hear what God has to say to them via people other than themselves. This is the reason we have people running from here and there. Something I always tell myself and challenge God to is. Father, if you can tell someone something about me, please tell me all about me. 

Confession: I will sit at my watch and hear for God to tell me what to do. I will be alert to hear God’s instructions for my life. I will not be crowded and be put in a state of confusion over whose voice I am hearing in Jesus name. Amen. (Habakkuk 1:2)

Prayer: Father give me a listening ear. Open my eyes to see and my mind to know when I am crowded and can’t hear your voice. I refuse to allow myself to be caught up in the hustling and bustling of life that I can’t hear you guide me in Jesus name. I receive today an open mind and a beautiful heart to read and hear in between the lines what you have to say to me in Jesus name. Amen.

Action: Check your circle, the people in there. Will they be a hindrance to you hearing from God?
