Date with Mrs. O’ (Edition 1)- The Recap (Part 1)

It was a great time of sharing as about 70 single ladies came together to have a date – virtually – with Mrs. O’. This program was powered by “The Christian wife’s diary” and it is aimed at preparing single and engaged ladies for the beautiful bliss of marital life.

A quick word of prayer.

Our dear God in heaven, we thank you for life. We thank you for provision, we thank you for all things countable and those uncountable. We invite you to this date today and we ask that you be the Captain of this ship we are aboard. Lead us to our individual rightful destination. We won’t arrive at another’s in Jesus Name. Take charge of everything and you alone will be glorified in Jesus Name we have prayed. Amen… 🙏.

Okay, first of all. How many of you are glad you are a woman? I’ve seen people who wish they weren’t. And if you are here and feel so, I hope after this date, you will look back and appreciate your womanhood.

Now two questions for you all.

1. WHAT IS YOUR IDENTITY?
2. WHY WERE YOU CREATED?

You are God’s image. You are not just a child of God. You are god too.

Psalm 82:6 “‘You are gods,’ I said; ‘all of you are children of the Most High.’” This is the Psalmist description of us. Now see Jesus’ words in John 10:34-35 “Jesus answered, “It is written in your own Law that God said, ‘You are gods.’ We know that what the scripture says is true for ever; and God called those people gods, the people to whom his message was given.”

So now you see that you go beyond just being daughter or child. You are like your father. And guess what, a child will always take the traits of his father.

God is Love, you should be love too. Share love, speak love, breath love, sleep love, eat love, excrete love.

God is a creator, you should be creating things. Creating lovely friendship, creating great meals, creating dresses, creating confidence in that person, creating everything create-able.

Time will fail me to list them all, but know that you are “god” and therefore don’t think less of yourself.
