The life of Esther is an evidence that God can make EXTRAORDINARY things, out of the ordinary!
“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is there anything too difficult for Me?”
The fact that God has given one a promise of a beautiful future, does not exclude such from playing her part. Sin, pride, laziness, fear, prayerlessness, lack of knowledge of God’s Word and His promises; are some of the antidotes to the fulfilment of God’s plan and promise for an individual. God has great plans for us; but we need to be willing to submit to His will, totally obedient to all His instructions, and go when and where He calls us.
One other major lesson we can glean from the life of Esther was, when she became the queen, she did not forget the purpose why God sent her into the palace. She never allowed the beauty and splendor of the palace, the delicious delicacies, and assorted drinks in the palace, make her forget her God’s purpose for her life. Esther’s uncle, Mordecai, who played the role of a mentor to her at that time, also never ceased to remind her of her purpose.
How many people today forget all God’s instructions, the vow they made to God, the purpose He revealed to them; just because they had a little ‘breathe of fresh air’ when God took them to an elevated position. They forget that the ‘promotion’ is to enable them fulfil purpose, and not forget God. Many have also been replaced in the scheme of God’s plan, because they turned their backs on God.
Wives, it is time to Arise, and stand before the King of kings, that your life, that of your family, generations tied to your loins, the ‘tribe’ God has sent you to, will be preserved. God has promised you, your husband, your children, a beautiful life; but this will not happen by chance, because the devil will always try to fight It. You’ve got to arise and fight on your knees! You’ve got to arise and possess your possessions. You’ve got to exercise your Authority in Christ, and lay hold on all the good things God has promised you and your family.
You need to get to the point of: “Whatever the cost; even if I have to sacrifice this worldly pleasure, put away this sinful habit, let go off ‘this and that’, according to God’s instructions, to lay hold on the glorious future God has promised me, and my family, I will and I am ready”.
Prayers
Hebrews 4:16 Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment].
My Heavenly Father, thank You for the privilege to come boldly before You today. Please, cause Your mercy and favour to speak for me, and my family. Baptise me afresh with Your Spirit, Your righteousness, and give me utterance in the place of prayer today. Fill me with Yourself and empower me with the Holy Ghost as I stand in the gap for my life and family. Let me see You, hear you, understand You, and experience Your power in a different dimension today in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Jeremiah 32:17 AMP Ah Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! There is nothing too difficult or too wonderful for You.
My Heavenly Father, I acknowledge that there is absolutely nothing that is hard for you to do. I bring my husband before you. Every power contending with his relationship with God, sapping out his zeal for God and gradually distracting him, every power preventing him from attaining his position as the head, priest, leader, watchman of our home, every hindrances and obstacles that the devil has placed on his career/business life, every ‘crumbs lifestyle’ placed on his finances; Lord I ask that the fire of the Holy Ghost destroys such powers, and liberate my husband this day, and cause him to step into the fulfilment of Your purpose for his life in Jesus name, Amen.
Isaiah 54:13 And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
My Heavenly Father, I pray for the salvation of the lives of my children, let them encounter Jesus early in life. Guide them into Your Truth daily. Any strange spirit roaming around, possessing children of these last days, shall have NO way in the lives of my children (whichever one that has possessed them, and causing them to already misbehave, I chase them out of my children’s lives now by the fire of the Holy Ghost into the sea in Jesus’ name). Dear Lord Jesus, let Your Spirit possess the hearts of my children. Every second of the lives of my children shall be used to serve you. Cause Your Excellent Spirit to be mighty upon them and make them better than their counterparts. Connect them to godly friends and take the sons of ‘belial’ and daughters of ‘jezebel’ far from them. Take sickness and diseases far from them and help them to begin to walk the path of Your purpose for their lives. Help us as parents to guide and train them in Your way Lord, in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
Ephesians 4:2-3 Conduct yourselves with all humility, gentleness, and patience. Accept each other with love, and make an effort to preserve the unity of the Spirit with the peace that ties you together.
My Heavenly Father, please bind my husband and I, with Your divine cords of love that cannot be broken. Let Your peace, unity, and love fill my home. Teach my husband how to love me unconditionally and teach me how to be submissive unto him. In these last days, where domestic violence is on a high rate, cause my marriage to stand strong, weather all storms, and come out victoriously. Dear Lord Jesus, please cause the wine of our love to always remain fresh. Shield my marriage from strange men and women and destroy all their schemes and plans against my home. Release Your glory and beauty into my home and cause us to walk into the fulfillment of Your purpose for our marriage in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Psalms 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD bestows grace and favor and honor; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.
My Heavenly Father, You are a God that cannot lie. The Bible tells me that Your Word is yea and amen. I come with this understanding and faith in You and plead that You bring to pass Your promises for my husband, children, and my life. Our hope is in you, and our help comes from You alone. Like You called Lazarus that has been dead four days to come forth, Father, cause our long-expected blessings to come to manifestation. Take us to that ‘GREAT’ height, You promised us, for Your glory, and cause us to be channels of blessings to others in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Joshua 24:15b …..but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
My Heavenly Father, please plant a fresh hunger and thirst for MORE of You in my husband, children, and my life. Help us to always seek You first and pursue to do Your will above all else. Help us to understand Your purpose for our lives, and empower us with the courage, faith, and all we need to fulfill it, whatever the cost. Help us that NOTHING will separate us from Your love, and help us to enjoy the beautiful God-filled life You promised us, as you also use us for the deliverance of others in Jesus’ name, Amen.
